Dog eat dog, 2017
In their fourth operation the Villains attracted beings from the unformed world. Dog eat dog is an attempt to define and understand what the dogs are trying to say. As they assist the Villains in the attempt of recreating and rebirthing society. Creating from destruction. The dog appaered first as a drawing where he eats the sun. Symbolizing the death and a new beginning in the world’s creation. The dogs are all around and play a major role in the installment of the exhibition. A voodoo like object was made from a found Puffin skull (resembling a major iconic symbol of the uproaring tourism crisis of the land). A being appears in one of the videos where the third emergency flare is lit to underline a cry for help - the red flame symbolizes the state of emergency. A call for action. The wand with the Puffin skull and it’s power is ignited with the act of these two elements fusing together within the video. A red siren light runs in circles as a light beam underlining the crisis. The speech of Dog Eat Dog theory looped every 10 minutes within the room.

DOG EAT DOD THEORY - a speech by The Villains.
It’s a Dog eat Dog world, shifting the shadows, crawling through the ruins of a post apocalyptic world. The Villain encounters the dogs of shadow and light. Transforming themselves in a rebirth of society. The black dogs bark and bark, they have sharp teeth and move around, they follow and are always watching you. Hear them howling in the night. The black dogs have formed multiple packs and we wonder if they will attack. They go around like ghosts and there is darkness in their eyes. The black dogs are inside you, inside me, us and all beings. They are thoughts, actions, none-matter and solid form. Appearing in different realms for all kinds of reasons. They howl in the night and their echo reflects in the shadow. White dogs do not howl they rather whisper in a low tone that gently awakens a certain frequency within all beings. They are visions and actions as well but never push. They float effortlessly into your mind and whisper their bark in a dreamlike manner. Sometimes the white and the black mix together - becoming and aimless, confused specie. Their tongue becomes twisted and all actions are answered with the opposite. A whisper or howl that is a mixed feeling. They try to seek shelter in clouds of clarity and generally stick together in large packs.
