Two Villains bring the Power back to it's Source, 2016
The first act of The Villains was performed at an off-venue called Myrkramessa (Dark Mass) of A! performance festival at Akureyri. Where one performance came after the other. The performance of the Villains was ongoing through the night. They first were as static props within the setting they had created for the action. A TV, bed frame and a magnifier connected to the steel frame to enhance the sound of it’s beating. Strobe light blinking. When the act was set one started to caused wreck and havoc while the other crawled on the floor painting symbols to awaken the energy in the situation. Beast-like noises were called into a megaphone. The two acts of the villains entwined together. In the end a red flare was lit to declare a state of emergency. The idea of the performance was to channel the energy of destruction and then bring it back to it’s source.
