Ljósbruni var hluti af Hamraborg Festival, sumarið 2024. Sýningin fjallaði um það að draga fram stemminguna sem býr á milli hluta, það sem er óséð og ósnertanlegt en þó hægt að upplifa. Verk sýningarinnar höfðu hver á sinn hátt snertiflöt við veruna sem dvelur á svæði milli tveggja veruleika, milli hlutarins og rúmsins, sem einskonar hálfhlutur.

Myndlistarkonurnar Heiðrún G. Viktorsdóttir, Sigthora Odins og Andrea Aðalsteins hafa sýnt saman bæði hérlendis og erlendis, síðast árið 2022 með samsýningu í heimahúsi í Reykjavík. Myndlist þeirra er ofin saman með ákveðnum hugmyndaþráðum og grunnstef verkefnanna eru skynjun, innsæi, viðvera hins óáþreifanlega og stúdía með efniskennd. Efnið er rannsakað í samtali við eðlisfræðilegar hugrenningar og verkin unnin í tengslum við post-humaníska hugmyndafræði. Verkin eiga sér það sammerkt að fjalla um það sem býr handan líkamans (e. physicality) og með leit í efni byggja þær upp og veita því óáþreifanlega merkingu.

Bright burn was a part of Hamraborg fesitval in the summer of 2024. The exhibition was about emphasising the atmosphere that exists between objects, the unseen and untouchable that is still available to be experienced. The works in the show all had their area of contact with the being that dwells in between two realities, between the object and space, a kind of half-object.

The artists Heiðrún G. Viktorsdóttir, Sigthora Odins and Andrea Aðalsteins have exhibited together both locally and internationally, the most recent group exhibition was in a private home in Reykjavík in 2022. Their art is woven together with certain strings of ideas and the baseline for the projects are perception, intuition, the presence of the intangible and a study of materiality. The material is researched in conversation with physiological thoughts and the works are under the influence of post-human ideology. All the pieces deal with what is beyond physicality and by seeking materials they build and bring meaning to the intangible.
